ABB Sustainability Review 2006
ABB, the global power and automation technology group, has identified seven key areas of sustainability where it can make a difference and effect lasting change. These areas range from how ABB helps to mitigate climate change and saves energy for industry and utility customers through to managing social and environmental impacts, and working ever more closely with the company's supply chain. Energy efficiency is a core issue for ABB - both in its manufacturing processes and what it supplies to customers.
The 2006 Sustainability Review - called "Power and productivity for a better world" examines these issues in detail. The case studies, highlighting energy efficient technologies, environmental initiatives and social engagement, also underline ABB's commitment to a sustainable approach to business and to all its stakeholders around the world.
