Big declines in Atlantic Salmon leads to questions about what happens out at sea

Concerns about the big decline of the iconic Atlantic Salmon in Britain's river systems are leading scientists to investigate what happens to this iconic fish while it's out to sea, with, on average, only 3% of fish leaving the river returning to spawn and this figure has regularly dropped below 1%. If the decline continues, wild Atlantic salmon will disappear from UK rivers in the next 30 years.

Skyhawk Global

HydroEater- our unique bioremediation solution

What Is Bio Remediation? Bio Remediation is a specific process used to treat contaminated media, including water, soil and subsurface material, by altering the environmental conditions to stimulate growth of microorganisms and degrade the target pollutants. In many cases, bioremediation is less expensive and more sustainable than other remediation alternatives.

skyhawk bug mainHydroEater is a bioremediation product unique to Skyhawk Global, that was designed specifically to break down hydrocarbon polluted soil. HydroEater not only breaks down the hydrocarbon polluted soil but activates the natural bacteria of the specific area to help with the bioremediation process. Restoring the contaminated land faster to the original state.

HydroEater consists of various bacterial strains specifically formulated to effectively degrade both Aromatic and Aliphatic hydrocarbons.

HydroEater enhances the natural biological process to aid in the degradation of various hydrocarbon pollutants found in soil, to ensure a non-toxic end product, thus improving the environment.

What is Bio-Augmentation? Bio-Augmentation utilises a similar process using our bacterial strains, and is an application-specific approach, used to treat numerous wastes types including wastewater, sludge, abattoir waste, aquaculture, industrial and solid waste.

Our products have undergone vigorous testing by independent third parties which show that our products are fast acting, effective and safe. We are always pleased to share this research and to demonstrate the effectiveness of our products so please get in touch to find out more.
